Fun Gun Reviews Presents: The Kel-Tec P-11 9mm sub compact pistol. One of the smallest 9mm semi-automatic handguns on the market. Great for Concealed Carry on a budget, but excellent quality as well.

My Keltec PF-9 is more narrow
Probably ,75″ wide.
Much lighter than my P11

Its probable that more people have been killed in their own homes by supposed “unloaded” guns than loaded ones. Few people respect one of the principle rules of gun ownership…. loaded or not…..the gun is ALWAYS loaded. Pull the magazine, open the bolt, stick your finger down the chamber, look down the butt end off the barrel. The gun is still treated as loaded. Always aimed in a safe direction, finger off of the trigger, hammer (if equipped) down. Many have been killed by an “unloaded” gun.

He’s saying he had a gun that he was positive was unloaded and it fired.
In other words, it wasn’t unloaded.

Wish I could figure out how to shoot an unloaded gun. Saves on the ammo bill I bet. Never understood that saying.

Great video, sootch. Recommended this vid to a friend that’s interested in one of these pistols. Keep up the good work.

you should check out the Kel-Tec p3AT .380. Probably the smallest .380s I’ve ever seen. Also comes with a clip like that of a knife where you can CC within your pocket

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago, put 500 rds through it as soon as I got it and it shot like a dream. The only issue that I have had with it is when I was reassembling after cleaning it took me nearly 15 minutes of wiggling and banging on the barrel to slide all the way forward so I could reassemble it. Since then I have never had another problem with it, have ordered 15 rd magazine and extension, plan on ordering new guide rod and belt clip for it soon. I love this gun.

i own 3 kel tec pistols, and am working on my 4th. I will say, i had a quite a few jams in my first 200 rounds or so, but once i broke the gun in, it functions flawlessly with fmj and hp ammo. i have carried this gun for self defense everyday for 4 years now. they also use s&w 9mm hicap mags, so its a huge plus. well worth the money.

I typically wear eye protection when shooting because my viewers give me a hard time when I don’t. I slip sometimes but it is a good practice. Thanks~

Yeah I didnt think about the 26, infact it didnt even cross my mind at all. I’m gonna have to look into that, the purchase may be a little off as I just got laid off, so who only knows when I may actually get it now. But thank you for the help though

I didn’t have any trouble from this pistol, and all I’ve heard are good things…. beside the recoil wearing a place on my hand. It’s super small for sure. If you’re unsure, why not go with the Glock 26 sub 9mm? Glocks are the bomb… you know~

I was contemplating about getting this model pistol. I’m used to my glock model 23(40 cal) and the larger round. I heard a lof of good things with this gun and a lotta bad things about this gun. Have you run across this gun jamming a lot???? Ive yet to have my glock jam so thats a concern with this gun. I want somthing light but something is realiable and something I would feel safe with if I ever need it. Thanks for the help in advance.

yeah, i put my Hogue on today when I got it. Well worth it. I also saw your other vid, and commented it, it helped me strip and clean my gun. I also mentioned I want to get a spare P11 with a stainless slide. Also I wanna pick up a P32 and P3AT after handling them today at the store. Great guns in my opinion.

Great idea using the hogue Jr. I’ve uploaded the disassembly video earlier this week so check it out on my channel. Thanks~

if you wanna make the grip a little more comfortable i would recommend you get a Hogue Jr. slip on grip. It’s hard to put on, but once it’s on it’s worth it, the gun feels much better and makes it more comfortable to shoot. I also added the belt clip from Kel Tec on my P11. It feels like it’s invisible now when I carry it in the waistband.
