70 Year Old Billy Jackson defends himself during home invasion

“I heard a hard knock on the front door,” said Jackson. “So I opened the door with a little crack and when I did these two men just shoved me back with the door and one had the weapon pointed at my head.”
He raised his weapon and at that time I got my weapon and fired before he ever got his weapon back down again. Then I shot the other guy and then I came back and shot the man with the weapon again,”
“I’m sorry that someone got hurt, because I have children, love them very much. And I’m sure the parents of those two loved them very much and I am really grieving for that.”
Billy Jackson was lucky he was armed that day. Most people remove their CCW in their home, or do not keep a loaded handgun in their house. If Billy had not had his weapon with him, the intruders could have easily captured or killed him. It’s an unfortunate situation, but Billy did what he had to do to protect the life of himself and his wife.
